Then retreat as the Russians try to close in and fight. This causes high losses for the Russians and slows the advance. It looks like Russia is moving right in for the first few days but guess what, they aren’t. Ukraine is trading this land (most of which is unimportant) for time and Russian bodies. After 5 days guess what? The Russian advance stops due to a lack of supplies. Russian units take to looting towns for food and many men start to surrender or desert. This is why the front line barely moved for weeks. Russia tries to supply its priority forces via truck. The Ukrainians know this and their limited airpower targets supply trucks. Additionally Ukrainians Special Operations units ambush hundreds of tanks and supply trucks.

Maybe the growling cat has picked up on a smell, the way the other cat moves, etc. that makes him think the other cat is sick. One of my cats died recently. The other one has been pretty lonely, and just now she’s been licking me excessively, as if she were grooming me. Is there any particular reason to this? She misses her friend, and she’s grooming you as a substitute. Get your poor kitty a new friend, you said she was lonely. If you’re interested, I’d recommend another adult cat, maybe a bit younger than your surviving cat. Make sure to choose a cat that you like and who will be a good friend to your other cat. You don’t mention what your cat is like, but probably another cat with the same/similar temprament would be best, unless your cat is very aggressive, then choosing one who is easier going would probably be best. Keep in mind that the two cats will need some time to adjust to living together. My new cat Ziggy and my older cat Jackson are finally getting to be buddies after nearly a year together.
