Dogs make me happy shirt

First, as a father to a young girl (and a boy as well), one of the Dogs make me happy shirt and I will buy this most important lessons I can teach her is to assertively set boundaries with others – boys and girls. There is a right and a wrong way to do that, though. By saying you “cursed him out”, it sounds a lot like the wrong way. I am picturing what amounts to verbal abuse for some perceived slight.

Why would you think it is ok to act like that? Do you feel entitled to act in an abusive manner towards someone else but that someone isn’t allowed to make it stop because of disparate genders? Men aren’t supposed to hit women. Or yell at them. But women aren’t supposed to hit or yell at men either.
