Description
And yes electronics… they weren’t even electronic yet were expensive. Early televisions were costly. The family I mentioned above might not have had that little black and white box. Things like radios, alarm clocks and watches were worth having repaired. I remember as late as 1978 paying $400 for a 13″ portable color TV. Ten years later I bought one for my daughter for $100. Recently I saw I could buy a 24″ flat screen for $80. Your cell phone today is more powerful than computers on the Dr. Pettry Classic -Shirt and I will buy this early space flights. Progress!
Dr. Pettry Classic -Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
I remember one person remarking that in the Dr. Pettry Classic -Shirt and I will buy this 1950s, they had a “stay at home” mom and their father worked a union construction job. They had a house in the suburbs, and one new car. His weekly paychecks each month… first two paid for house and utilities. Next week paid for everything else. The last week went into savings for vacation.
