I don’t think people are against it, per se, it’s just slightly ridiculous that people are seeing them as a solution and using them to shame people not wearing one. You can still socialise in a mask if people don’t want to wear a mask then that’s fine but they shouldn’t be allowed in shops where vulnerable people are. Unfortunately ignorance like this can kill other people, especially now that the Fauci for president T-shirt and by the same token and evidence is pointing to Covid 19 being airborne no evidence that herd immunity can be achieved. You’re more likely to get infected wearing a mask than just keeping your distance and washing your hands.
