To some degree. Having grown up in Canada, I’m used to a much larger celebration. When I first moved to Australia about 13 years ago, I was extremely disappointed by Australian Halloween. There was an absolute dearth of horror movies on TV. The stores were already shilling Christmas with no sign of Halloween in sight. There were no kids in our neighbourhood trick or treating. There were no Halloween parties I was aware of, etc. (Note: This is Melbourne I’m talking about).
