Cozy Put The Puppies To Bed hoodie with vintage football dog art. A funny gift for new puppy owners surviving the first night.

Survive the first night with style

This Put The Puppies To Bed hoodie is designed for new puppy owners navigating the chaos of early bedtime routines and sleepless nights. When you are bringing home a new pet, the first few days often involve interrupted sleep and frantic energy management. This apparel piece offers a humorous nod to that specific struggle, making it a relatable companion for anyone in the thick of potty training and crate settling. It serves as a conversation starter among fellow dog lovers who understand the unique exhaustion of the first week.

Vintage football humor design

The graphic features retro-style cartoon art of a bulldog and tiger in football jerseys, signed by Old Rex, blending sports nostalgia with pet love. The illustration depicts an orange tiger holding a football high while tackling a bulldog, creating a playful scene that appeals to both dog lovers and fans of classic mascot aesthetics. This vintage football motif adds a layer of visual interest beyond standard pet prints, utilizing bold navy, orange, and red colors against a white background. The cartoon illustration style ensures the design feels approachable and fun rather than aggressive, fitting perfectly into casual wardrobes.

Comfortable cotton fleece fit

Made from soft white cotton fleece with navy, orange, and red prints, this pullover is built for comfort during long hours of lounging or casual wear. The fabric provides warmth without excessive bulk, making it suitable for indoor use while caring for pets or outdoor errands. Unisex sizing allows for a relaxed fit that accommodates various body types, ensuring ease of movement when bending down to pick up toys or treats. The durable print maintains its vibrancy through regular use, keeping the Old Rex signature clear and legible over time.

Is this hoodie good for sleeping?

Yes, the soft cotton fleece material makes it comfortable for lounging and sleeping during late-night puppy care sessions. The breathable fabric helps regulate temperature, which is useful if you are waking up frequently to take your dog outside. Many buyers find the loose fit ideal for resting on couches or beds while supervising a new pet.

What size should I get for a new puppy owner?

Order your usual hoodie size; the cut is relaxed enough to layer over pajamas or wear alone while caring for a new pet. If you prefer a tighter fit, consider sizing down, but most customers stick to their standard measurement for maximum comfort. The unisex design means men and women can choose based on their typical sweatshirt preferences.

Is this a good gift for someone who just got a puppy?

It is an ideal gift for friends or family welcoming a new dog, offering both humor and comfort during the adjustment period. New owners often appreciate practical items that acknowledge the difficulty of the transition phase. This hoodie works well as a housewarming-style present for pet parents, combining utility with a lighthearted message about managing puppy energy.

Does the design fade after washing?

The print is durable when washed inside out in cold water and tumble dried low, preserving the vintage colors. Proper care prevents cracking or peeling of the bulldog and tiger artwork, ensuring the shirt looks fresh for months. Avoid using bleach or high heat settings to maintain the integrity of the cotton fleece and the printed graphics.
