Who said ‘Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God’?

Thomas Jefferson is widely credited with this phrase, which he suggested as a motto for the Great Seal of the United States in 1776. Although it was not adopted as the official national motto, the quote remains a powerful symbol of resistance against tyranny in American history. This shirt repurposes that historical weight into a modern cultural reference.

Is this shirt suitable for fans of the show Wednesday?

Yes, this tee is specifically tailored for fans of the Netflix series Wednesday. The depiction of the character aligns closely with Jenna Ortega’s portrayal of the iconic Addams family member, capturing her deadpan demeanor and rebellious attitude. It serves as excellent Addams Family merch for viewers who connect with the show’s tone and themes.

What does the design look like?

The design consists of a circular graphic printed in navy blue ink on a white t-shirt. Inside the circle, you will find a stylized image of Wednesday Addams wearing headphones. The border of the circle contains the text “Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God,” wrapping around the central figure to create a cohesive, stamp-like appearance.

Can I wear this to school or work?

This graphic tee is generally suitable for casual wear settings due to its subtle combination of a popular character and a historical quote. However, if you plan to wear it in professional environments or schools with strict dress codes, check your specific policies regarding graphic tees or statements that could be interpreted as political. For most casual outings, it fits well within alternative fashion norms.
