Deva curl, Mizani, Tgin and Design Essentials are great quality curly hair brands. Creme of nature, African Pride, carols to girls are cheaper things. Whether your ethnic group or not all curly hair people can use the same product you just need to find what works for you. Some good brands are Deva Curl, Mizani, Design Essentials, Ouidad and Tgin. If you look on the cheaper side, I used the Creme of Nature and African pride when I first started wearing my curls.

Regimen: For my naturally long hair, I wash my hair 2 times a week then use conditioner, wash my hair 2 times a week or as needed. Most of the TGIN Thank God I’m Natural shirt time, I use a light, water based type of water. I used to be sealed with oil but found it didn’t suit my 4a / 3c hair. I have a dry shampoo I haven’t tried yet, but if using the TGIN Thank God I’m Natural shirt oil, they might be interested in a completely natural apple cider vinegar shampoo. My personal favorite, so far, Aunt Jackie and Shea Moisture (with the first use of SM, my hair loss while shampooing is down 80%! than a ping pong ball). Not long ago, I tried the travel versions of TGIN with great results. I plan to buy regular versions of different brands of shampoos, hair masks and butter.

I also really recommend using a really good hair mask (I have started using the TGIN Thank God I’m Natural shirt TGIN Honey Hair Mask and I love it!). And finally, if your hair is super bad like mine, one product is an absolute life-saving device. It is only used once or every two months (that’s its strength) and if your hair is damaged, it’s a game changer. I usually buy on amazon for shoulder-length curly hair. TGIN (thank god / I naturally) is a good line to start with, not too expensive and certainly a good one. Get shampoo, conditioner and departure. Try the Tangle Teezer Thick & Curly hairbrush for quick combing. I usually wear my hair in a ponytail, bun, or just out, but of course it’s healthier to twist and braid and so on.
