We Know The Truth Tee Drakeo The Ruler Inspired Hip Hop Graphic Shirt

What is the We Know The Truth Tee?

This black tee features bold yellow varsity-style block lettering reading “WE KNOW THE TRUTH.” It is a fan-inspired design referencing lyrics associated with Drakeo the Ruler and YG, not official merchandise. The shirt captures the raw energy of West Coast hip hop through its simple yet striking typography. Fans of the Stinc Team era will recognize the phrase immediately as a staple slogan from that scene. This piece serves as a tribute to the artists who popularized the quote in their music and public appearances.

Design details and aesthetic

The shirt uses a retro college font with a black outline on a solid black cotton base. This high-contrast look appeals to fans of vintage pop culture and hip hop streetwear aesthetics. The yellow text pops against the dark background, ensuring visibility even in low light. The varsity style evokes a classic collegiate vibe while maintaining an edgy, urban feel. This combination makes it suitable for casual outings, concerts, or everyday wear where you want to make a statement without being overly loud.

Material and fit information

Made from soft, breathable cotton fabric suitable for daily wear. The unisex cut fits true to size, offering a comfortable standard fit for both men and women. You can expect a relaxed silhouette that allows for easy movement throughout the day. The material holds up well after multiple washes, keeping the print intact if cared for properly. Whether you prefer a snug fit or a looser drape, this tee provides a versatile option for various body types.

Is this official Drakeo the Ruler merchandise?

No, this is an independent fan-inspired item. It does not carry official licensing or endorsement from Drakeo the Ruler’s estate or record label. The design is created by enthusiasts who appreciate the artist’s impact on hip hop culture. Buyers should understand they are purchasing a tribute piece rather than a licensed product.

Who originally said ‘We know the truth’?

The phrase is widely recognized in hip hop circles due to its use by Los Angeles rapper Drakeo the Ruler and references in YG’s music. It has become a popular slogan among fans of that era and style. While other artists may have used similar sentiments, these two figures cemented the specific wording in recent rap history. The quote resonates with listeners who value authenticity and transparency in the genre.

How should I care for this graphic tee?

Machine wash cold inside out with like colors to preserve the yellow print. Tumble dry low or hang to dry; avoid ironing directly on the design. Turning the shirt inside out before washing helps prevent friction damage to the screen-printed letters. Hanging to dry is recommended to maintain the shape and color vibrancy over time.

Does this shirt run small or large?

The tee follows standard US sizing. If you prefer a looser fit, consider ordering one size up, as the cut is designed for a regular, comfortable wear. Most customers find the true-to-size option works best for a standard fit. Check your usual measurements against our general size guide if you are between sizes.
